Towards the fifth Week Without Pesticides: From 20th to 30th March 2010
During 10 days associations, as well as farmers or institutions, hold grassroots events to educate the public on health and environmental risks due to pesticide use and to prove that viable alternatives to chemical treatments exist.
The fourth edition of the Week Without Pesticides gathered around 450 organisations in France and in 14 other foreign countries - of which 179 associations, 139 garden centers and retailers, 63 local communities, 57 schools – who organized 684 actions on pesticides alternatives.
Everywhere in France and more and more abroad, the “Semaine” is the unifier and innovator event which allows to maintain the pressure on decision makers to hoist always higher the alternatives to pesticides.
